A few weeks go Lori, Lena and I trekked up to Delaware to visit with Michael and Suzanne before they left for Sudan to return to their mission work. There we talked and laughed with our family and got the scoop on the dusty, hot, difficult, rewarding, God-called life Mike and Suz so boldly lead in Africa with their two babies, two year old Hudson and 3 month
old Noelle. This was our first time meeting Noelle, who is just as sweet and precious as her big brother. And who has just as much hair as he does, which made Lena look particularly bald. It’s always a treat to see the Wentzels, an all-too-infrequent treat. They are an extraordinary, humble, fun, smart, honest, loving couple with an unimaginably strong faith and compassion to move mountains.
